2twenty2 03:04
2Twenty2 2 Eyes dangling in a box, you see And they're thinking of you Yeah got a slick trick medicine pill For the cheap thrills you seek Don't wanna be another twenty foot elephant Tied up to a plastic tree Don't wanna be another routine That marches into the sea 2Twenty2 is the number you seek To bust out from the cage called Routine reality 2 Fists in a corner Put there by a time out But a buckshot hurricane Won't be able to get them out Don't wanna be another twenty foot elephant Locked up in a plastic cage Don't wanna be another routine Standing on a paper stage 2Twenty2 is the number you seek To bust out from the cage called Routine reality

Mirror Man 02:56
Mirror Man Well I'm looking straight at the mirror The mirror's looking back at you Why do you contemplate Every single little thing that you do Well I'm a piano on a tight rope spinning around Daggers flying through the wind all they gotta do is They wanna cut you down Mirror man put a single little question Attention put me on my feet Man works hard every day, sweat drip You know a mans gotta eat Ain't no corporate flag Flipping on a stiff pole Work hard, get poor, get robbed, play dead? This is the undertone Don't you think, don't you know All seems, upside down Work hard, get poor, and get robbed? Don't you think, don't you know All seems, upside down Work hard, get poor, and get robbed? Yeah, go pick a fight

Message Through Sound Maybe, the leaders are just lazy Playing chess games, back and forth Looking wide for somebody to blame Well it's that temptress Called injustice That gave you broad smiles Slick lies, eyes Behind a ribcage Well these mere waves Are but decibels Describing what I'm feeling Through Sound Through Sound These morals, well they seem fleeting Educational hand outs don't mean a thing Results if you don't see them Well it's a fine line Contract and wine Intoxicating promises They take it all Leave you behind Well these mere waves Are but decibels Describing what I'm feeling Through Sound Through Sound

Don't You Know Summertime is here but I long for winter Red wine glistening And the fire soldiers on Water's marching down the chimney once again Rusty tracks and a misty teacup Standing over by the corner On the window sill And the wind outside with a grin says to me Hey, don't you know People gonna tell you what they think you need to know Hey, well don't you know People gonna tell you what they think you need to know Winter's here and I love the rain As it hits the tin roof next to my bedroom Once again With the sound of a halo symphony, earth bound And I feel like it should be like this Everyday Or at least just for a while Until the sun comes knocking on my door saying Hey, don't you know People gonna tell you what they think you need to know Hey, well don't you know People gonna tell you what they think you need to know So you call me a friend Then stay to the very end Yeah if you'd rather just pretend Then the wind will blow you away Away from me So, so here's my shoes Try and make them fit if it works for you Say, say try the easy way But these puddles are too deep for you For you...

Marching Straight To The Enemy There's a man in the corner trying get you He wears white socks, black shoes, and a pin suit Got his hand in his pocket and the other free With a baseball bat for his enemy Better run yeah, better hide too He's got a nose like a hell hound he'll find you Best bet, for you to skip the border Yeah you know, you can't hide forever Now here, this is a stand off He ain't playing, this is your send off You're out of tricks, and you're out of luck And he lift a gun, and I heard a shot

Woman 02:14
Woman Well the weather, inside is frightening And she'll strike you, down with her lightning Like a blue flame, from her dangled crown When she gets up, that's when she put you down Don't you know this woman brings the thunder and it's ten fold Don't you know this woman brings the thunder and it's ten fold She's got a necklace, around her neck, see And she wears it, wherever she may be And it's heavy, and it wears her down But she don't care, cause her feet's standing off the ground She said Don't you know this woman brings the thunder and it's ten fold Don't you know this woman brings the thunder and it's ten fold

The Hill 02:57
The Hill Lightning strikes in the midnight Wood fire in the dark Still solitude cabin Greeted by trees to the top He's a God fearing man And he lives by the book He's woman's been taken long ago And he felt life's a burden And he's like the wolf that's screaming And he's like the wolf that's bleeding And he's like the wolf that's screaming Crying won't help you, hoo hoo Strong willed and power of an ox But you could find him standing still Man with his own two hands Built the cabin on the hill This land from an old generation And he works it hard, hard There's a stream that passes by Sings a song of a distant waterfall And he's like the wolf that's screaming And he's like the wolf that's bleeding And he's like the wolf that's screaming Crying won't help you, hoo hoo Don't you fear nothing else Winter has fallen Did you see the sun today Summer is coming Could you feel nature's kiss The birds they are calling Somewhere she's waiting for you On top of the hill

Cpt. James Pinto Old timey sailor man Went down to the harbour below Waiting for the ship's return To bring the bounty home And the water seems black And the water seems cold And the wind won't stop to blow Singing... Weary eyes from all he's seen On the Atlantic where the tide called him home Sailor by the name Cpt. James Pinto Like a steed he rose to the conquering know And the waves it did crash And the sun it did burn And the cities had started to bow Singing... A strong heroic heart and a steady hand That's what the men did seek As the battles did rose and the cities did sink They fought a divided fleet And the men they stood strong And the captain grew weak His fire blown out by the wind Singing... And so, with his sword drawn They pushed him away And so, he came to the edge And the end of his days And so, he went on his knees And he started to pray And he said, Farewell It's time for me to go...

The Vixen 02:38
The Vixen Sitting by the corner shop Felt her perfume as she walked away And it hit me like a midnight gale force I was wishing that she'd rather stay I've got a feeling Dark haired vixen caused by fiction Paint a tear on my soul What I've been seeing She shake her hips just for kicks Make a man lose control What I've been hearing Red tail, white tip, pulls you in Then won't let go Should I believe in Stories of a broken man Face down, maybe he knows Taking in the facts and the fiction And the stories that I've heard before Could this just be the same old tale Were the words stuck in the floor She's the basher She'll take your head Crash it straight down into the floor She use eyelashes Hypnotize, eyes shut, into a haze And into the door She plays the victim Teardrop, grin face, clouded mind Vindictive case Should I believe in Stories of a broken man Face down, maybe he knows So, if you see her, better run Yeah, cause this is what she's gonna do

The Olive Tree I call my friends, where should we meet How about the olive tree We'll go on to 02:45 And sing sweet songs with melodies Underneath the olive tree That's where we'll meet We'll sing sweet songs about a man walking tall Well life's been tough and then he'd fall Bump his head and float up straight to the moon And there he'll scream just like a buffoon About the olive tree That's where we'll meet Maybe go down to the valley below Marry this girl and take it slow Have a couple of daughters and then he'd know On top of the hill that's where he'd show Them the olive tree That's where we'll meet I call my friends, where should we meet How about the olive tree We'll go on to 02:45 And sing sweet songs with melodies Underneath the olive tree

Who Do You Think You Are Black crow in the desert with a suit on Won't let me be Give me water in a silver pan Harmful master in the endless heat Pen melts into the sand And ink drips, next to my feet Red fox carving tales to the times in sand Yeah, but he won't let me see Can't trust the story cause the wind blows Pen melts into the sand And ink drips, next to my feet White wolf howlin' night and day Won't let me be Shadows to my ears, no vacancy Tumbling noises in a quiet street Pen melts into the sand And ink drips, next to my feet

Lonely 02:32
Lonely Sitting in the winter sun In a white chair, with a hat on Looking at the bare trees Casting web shadows over me And the birds come a playing Some fight and others are just having fun And the moss slips through the bricks Where it once begun And I'm thinking you're lonely Doing all those things said you'd never do And I'm thinking you're lonely Do you? Sitting on the rooftops Doves play tag and they move on Wall is bent down From the pressure from a neighboring tree And the paint keeps falling down from the wood Greets the moss on the paving And the sun keeps on shining Leaves on the ground But they fade away And I'm thinking you're lonely Doing all those things said you'd never do And I'm thinking you're lonely Do you? Do you think of me too? Yeah do you?

about

The Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is no stranger to the music scene. Being the founding member and songwriter of the explosive garage rock duo, The Parlor Vinyls. This self taught musician has developed his own distinctive style of playing and song writing. After 3 years of playing as a duo, he found that it was time to pursue a solo career. And so, the freedom to delve deep into unknown waters working on various styles of music, which inspired him, and also creating new sounds along the way. Thus throwing the book of musical genre labeling, and the "band sound" out the door. Jon produced and recorded his self-titled album, which gave him the creative freedom to experiment and sculpt each song.
